Structures and modular systems
Self-supporting modular room
A self-supporting modular room built on an aluminium structure with infill panels. It creates an enclosed space within an existing production hall, with no building work and no connection to the building itself.
Specification
- Material and construction
- Load-bearing structure of structural aluminium profile, free-standing and requiring no fixing to the walls or columns of the building. The walls are filled with solid panels, glazed sections or a combination of both. The roof is formed from panels on the same structure. The door has a profile frame with a panel and a lock. The module is assembled on site and can be dismantled, relocated or reconfigured when the layout of the hall changes. The structure is modular — the room is extended by adding a further section.
- Dimensions
- Overall 10×5×2.5 (h) m. The dimensions, the position of the doors and windows and the number of sections are made to specification.
- Application
- Creating measuring and inspection rooms, operator cabins, maintenance workshops, storage areas and offices inside a production hall — wherever a separate space is needed without building masonry walls.
- Options
- Solid or glazed panels · doors in any position and opening direction · windows and pass-through openings · integrated electrical installation and lighting · air conditioning and ventilation. The configuration is defined to specification.
